ABOUT UMNENGA LODGE

Memories are made of this...

Umnenga Lodge has been a landmark in the area for the past 20 years. Originally named Balugha Inn, the property was purchased by Graham Stanton in 2006 and underwent a name change early in 2007. 'Umnenga" means whale in Xhosa, the indigenous language of the area. Late in 2011 Umnenga Lodge underwent a major facelift, after it was taken over by Mr Stanton's son Gareth, and his wife Calista, who continue to endeavour to transform the property into a prestigious family beach resort - that will not only provide comfortable and affordable accommodation for family vacations, but also play host to weddings, private functions, conferences, business travellers and guests in the lodge's own restaurant.
